Last week, Addison partnered with GMHC for an employee engagement and volunteer event in their midtown Manhattan dining room.
A team of cheerful Addisonians spent their day prepping and serving food to 359 GMHC clients, giving them a warm, nutritious meal, served with a friendly smile.
The Addison volunteers, many of whom played roles in designing sustainability communications for companies this past year, were excited to trade the creative studio for the cafeteria to help those in need, and spend a day volunteering side-by-side.
“As part of Addison for Good™, we are planning new ways to give back that are aligned with who we are as a company and the interests of our employees,” said Roger Byrom, CEO of Addison. “This particular project was selected by Addison’s employee-led CSR Council, which determined they wanted to help fellow New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS.”
