Addison welcomes Daniel Darst to its leadership team as Managing Director, Financial Marketing. Darst brings with him over 20 years as a senior marketing executive at Smith Barney Asset Management (later Citigroup), Bank of America, J.P. Morgan and Neuberger Berman. Darst is both a strategist and a hands-on practitioner whose core specialties include financial advisor education for new and traditional portfolio solutions, marketing and selling programs for intermediary, institutional and high-net-worth channels (print, digital and events) as well as original development of messaging and brand solutions.

In this role, Darst will help lead new and existing financial service relationships across marketing and stakeholder disciplines contributing to the continued growth of Addison. Darst, who received his B.A. from Yale and M.S. from Columbia, has worked previously at Addison following his graduation from Yale. “After almost twenty years on the client side, it’s refreshing to be able to apply some of my digital, print, brand and strategy experience to Addison’s relationships.”
Darst comes to Addison from Neuberger Berman where he was a Managing Director, Global Head of Marketing-Communications. At Neuberger, Darst was responsible for the firm’s messaging and positioning as well as channel marketing across private client, intermediary and institutional markets following their independence in 2009.
