MADELEINE YATES FROM MERRILL LYNCH JOINS ADDISON AS A SENIOR STRATEGIST

- We are pleased to announce that Madeleine Yates, formerly Director, Client Experience and Marketing Infrastructure with Merrill Lynch, joined Addison’s simplified communications group as Senior Strategist effective January 2. This practice employs strategic analysis, plain English writing and information design to clarify complex marketing and customer communications and enhance the user experience in the financial-services and health care arenas. Madeleine also specializes in the development of strategic environmental solutions to help firms achieve their paper-reduction and recycled-content objectives while meeting regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining Addison, Madeleine was Director, Client Experience and Marketing Infrastructure in the Strategic Marketing Group at Merrill Lynch. She directed initiatives to improve a client’s experience when joining Merrill Lynch. Madeleine also oversaw the strategy for Marketing’s infrastructure, leveraging technology to ensure ease of use for marketing tools. Madeleine co-led a team to develop an e-engagement strategy that resulted in the 2007 launch of a Merrill Lynch Online e - delivery center for clients’ financial communications. Madeleine also led an initiative to develop Merrill Lynch’s Relationship Statement, ranked #1 by DALBAR in 2006.
Madeleine has worked in many of Merrill Lynch’s business areas – just to name a few – Director, Total Merrill Marketing, Director of Six Sigma for Marketing, Business Planning for Marketing, Market Research, New Product Review Committee and Strategic Planning. Madeleine joined Merrill Lynch in 1991 as a Quality Professional.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Madeleine was employed in the Solar Energy industry as a product reliability expert and consulted extensively in the US, Asia and Europe to improve manufacturing techniques for solar products.
Madeleine holds an MBA in Executive Management from St. John University and a B.S. from Thomas Edison State College. She is Series 7 registered, a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Certified Quality Engineer
