This is the first time Addison has ever been included in this very exclusive competition by the most prominent graphic design industry association.

About the Competition: Founded in 1914, AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) is the professional association for graphic design in America. Its annual “365″ competition is widely recognized as the most discerning statement on design excellence today.

This annual juried competition exemplifies the most outstanding and effective current work in communication design. The selections from the AIGA 365 | Design Effectiveness competition—only 135 from over 1,200 entries—come from around the world and across all design disciplines (including print, digital, and cross-media) as chosen by a distinguished jury of design peers. The result is an authoritative chronicle of outstanding design solutions, each demonstrating the process of designing, the role of the designer, and the value of design.

Addison has won an unprecedented 15 placements in this competition for the 100 best annual reports, online annual reports, and CSRs of the year. There will be a final round of judging soon to determine Platinum, Gold, or Silver status. (This competition has largely inherited the prestige of the similar Black Book AR100 competition, which is now defunct.)

About the Competition: Graphis has been a household name in design for decades, and this competition is an all-encompassing look at the world of Annual Reports. The Graphis Annual Report is the icon of corporate communication and is celebrated in this volume. Selected from an international competition by an elite panel of annual report designers, this collection represents the best 100 international annual reports and interactive annual reports of the past year. Each winning piece is published in the hardbound annual and has been rigorously selected for excellence in concept, design, photography, and illustration.

Presented by MerComm, the International ARC Awards honor outstanding achievement in multiple categories. About the Competition: PRINT Magazine’s Regional Design Annual (RDA) issue is called the “Bible of the graphic design industry.” The PRINT RDA is the most comprehensive survey of graphic design in the United States, and the only design competition organized by geography. Winners are selected by juries of their peers and published in the must-have annual.

The American Graphic Design Awards is its four-decade-old flagship competition, representing all media and creative professionals around the industry—including graphic design firms, advertising agencies, in-house corporate and institutional designers, publishers, etc. Winners appear in the printed Design Annual and online.

About the Competition: The One Club’s One Show competition is a leading international advertising and design award show honoring excellence in design communications.
